Ginger Scarbrough is the Program Manager for the WERC Environmental Design Contest in the NMSU College of Engineering. The contest invites engineering/technical college students from across the country to compete in solving today’s key environmental challenges. In her role, Ginger partners with industry and government agencies to identify ground-breaking projects for students to solve. Ginger Scarbrough has been a faculty member at Purdue University, Ball State University, and New Mexico State University, teaching courses across multiple disciplines, including Computer Science, Geology, Materials Engineering, and Food Science. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Geophysics from UT El Paso and her Doctorate in Structural Geology from Purdue University.
