Mario Garcia serves as the STEM Program Specialist for Outreach and Recruiting, coordinating the STEM challenges and programs offered through the College of Engineering to middle and high school students throughout New Mexico; including BEST Robotics, TSA, and the PREP Academy.  Mario also serves as the liaison to the College of Education STEM Outreach Center where he worked as an undergraduate student teaching after-school programs and summer camps. Mario earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at NMSU and has experience writing, developing, and testing STEM-focused games, activities, and toys for students.
