New Mexico's Premier Transportation and Construction Conference

The annual New Mexico Transportation and Construction Conference — NM TransCon – is an educational conference created for industry professionals by industry professionals for the purpose of staying ahead of trends and cutting-edge technologies in civil infrastructure. The workshops and lectures cover various topics and a range of competency levels. 

NM TransCon is hosted by New Mexico State University’s College of Engineering in collaboration with these partners:

New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT)
American Planning Association-New Mexico (APA-NM)
American Society of Civil Engineers-New Mexico (ASCE)
Associated Contractors of New Mexico (ACNM)

Conference registration closed April 17 at 5 p.m. We will accept a limited number of registrations onsite at the conference center starting Wed., April 22, at 10 a.m.

The 2026 New Mexico Transportation and Construction Conference (NM TransCon) will recognize the Route 66 Centennial, celebrating the historic highway’s lasting influence on transportation in New Mexico and beyond. This milestone is reflected in the conference theme:

From Route 66 to Tomorrow’s Transportation Networks
Applying lessons from legacy infrastructure to innovative transportation planning, design, and construction

New this year, conference attendees are able to access the NM TransCon agenda and more electronically via the Guidebook app! Attendees will use it to view schedules, speaker profiles, navigate the venue, receive updates, and explore sponsor and vendor profiles. Think of Guidebook like a digital event program on your phone—but interactive, searchable, and always up to date. This replaces the printed program.

Download the Guidebook App. Get ready for the conference and explore it for yourself.

- Go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). Search "Guidebook" and install the app.
- Search for our event under the "Find Guides" tab. Type in: NM TransCon
- Select our event from the list. Tap "Download" to access the event information. This is "downloading the guide."
- Note that we are still finalizing aspects of the "guide" for the conference.
